A Quick Tip For Storing Your Paracord

I hope this post finds everyone doing well.
I just wanted to stop in and give you all a quick tip on how to store a small hank of parcord. This way you don't have to wad it up in ball and then untangle it like I used to do, which can be very frustrating and time consuming.
Start by taking one end of your length of paracord
and looping it around your thumb.
Once you have the first step completed, start winding the
paracord in a figure eight pattern around your
thumb and little finger. Keep doing this until you
have about eight inches left.

Then when you have about eight inches of
paracord left tie it off around the
hank and there you have it.

Have a great week.

  1. Excellent tip. Mine always looks like a string of Christmas lights, takes forever to untangle. :)

  2. Thank you. I know what you're talking about. It's annoying to start on a project and reach for the paracord to find it all tangled up then have it take more time to untangle than the project would've taken in the first place.
